This award recognizes school teams whose unparelled dedication to teaching ensures that their students succeed academically, regardless of the fact that these students may not have access to the same resources as others. Only those schools where the average parental income is in the bottom 25% of the province and which showed the strongest academic performance over the last five years were considered for this award.

Overall Academic Achievement

This award honours the school teams whose students have achieved ongoing academic excellence. Preliminary qualification in this category required that a team's students must first have achieved above average performance in each of the five school years, 2004 - 2005 through 2008 - 2009, on at least seven of the nine performance indicators on the Fraser Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools.

Le prix « Réussite complète » récompense les équipes-écoles dont les élèves se sont distingués par une réussite constante. Pour se qualifier dans cette catégorie, les élèves devaient avoir un rendement supérieur à la moyenne pour chaque année scolaire de 2002-2003 à 2006-2007 et dans au moins quatre des six indicateurs de rendement du Bulletin scolaire des écoles secondaires du Québec de l’Institut Fraser.
