8. Q: How do you select the schools to invite to the awards?
A: To identify the schools to be honoured the Fraser Institute thoroughly analyzes the historical results data of each school included in either the Institute’s annual Report Card on Elementary Schools or its annual Report Card on Secondary Schools in each of the four participating provinces. This analysis determines a short-list of approximately 30 schools for each award category. Only schools that are rated in the Fraser Institute's most recent edition of the Report Card and have received a rating in each of the last six reported school years are eligible for consideration.
